Fifty Shades Freed

If you are already a fan of the Fifty Shades films and books you will probably enjoy this last instalment. However, it is not as strong as the first film, nor does it have that original intrigue. It is very repetitive and the main plot surrounding the villain seems more like a soap opera. The film picks up where the second one left off. Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) and Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) are getting married, but there is an ongoing threat, which places their lives in danger.

You will laugh at some jokes and at other times just laugh at the ridiculousness of the film. Of course, you can expect many sex scenes and as this movie was filmed at the same time as the second one, you can expect Dornan to be in amazing shape and Johnson to look lovely as always. Both actors were quite brave to take on these roles and they have done well with the characters despite the weak storyline. While they were often given some terrible dialogue, the pair performed them well and it shows they are good actors. I think we are all done with 50 Shades now - “laters, baby.”
